World Champion Drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. and the Need for Speed crew teamed up to build a one-of-a-kind, fully-functional Street, Track and Drift machine, and this is the official, authorized RC replica, only from HPI and available from Motion RC!
Balancing 5.0 liters of tire-shredding American horsepower with vintage American, Japanese, European and Drift culture inspired design influences, Vaughn has incorporated state-of-the-art technology while retaining a nostalgic feel into his vision for the 1969 Ford Mustang's timeless body. The RTR-X was designed and built from the ground up to be driven hard; the RTR-X is NOT a trailer queen.
While Vaughn will be the only one behind the wheel thrashing it, the entire world will be able to enjoy driving the HPI 1/10th scale RTR-X. The RS4 Sport 3 is a fun, easy to drive and simple to maintain street car, featuring a completely pre-assembled race car chassis for amazing fun and loads of action!
HPI has packed in all the latest features like 2.4GHz control and complete waterproof protection! The chassis is factory assembled right out of the box, making the RS4 Sport 3 a quick and easy way to get straight into driving, racing and honing your skills! This is a complete racing machine that looks and drives just like the real thing!

Pre-Mounted Drift and Grip Tires The RS4 Sport 3 1969 Ford Mustang RTR-X is fitted with a set of HPI Spec-Grip treaded rubber tires for maximum grip on just about every paved surface. If going sideways is more your style, we also include a second set of wheels fitted with HPI T-Drift tires. |

One-Piece Molded Chassis The Sport 3 main chassis is formed from a single piece of reinforced plastic and features the drivetrain tunnel molded right down the middle, just like a real car. It's a step beyond any plastic tub chassis car available today. |

Low Profile Layout Design One of the ways we gave the Sport 3 the best possible handling was to make sure all the components fit as low as possible in the chassis. This gives the car an amazingly low center of gravity for enhanced cornering capabilities. |

Tough Front End Suspension The Sport front end uses the strong C-hub style suspension seen on the latest RC touring cars, with a vertical ball stud camber mount that lets you change the front end roll center – which is a critical racing adjustment that allows the Sport 3 to be a step above other sport-level RC touring cars. The suspension arm also features multiple shock mounting holes for easy shock angle adjustment. |

Metal-Shielded Ball Bearings The Sport 3 is fully fitted with a set of metal-shielded ball bearings for maximum efficiency. The metal shields keep the dust away from the internals while the smooth precision bearings provides for optimum power delivery from the power source out into the driveline. |
