We here at Motion RC are proud to announce our Super Scale F-14D Tomcat! Never before has an electric F-14 been produced in this size and with this high a degree of scale fidelity and quality. Easily one of the most beloved jets in history, we’re especially excited to offer this thrilling F-14D Tomcat. Our team worked tirelessly to develop an RC model which brings the excitement and scale performance of this hallmark aircraft to your local flying field and appropriately honors the F-14 Tomcat’s rightful place in aviation history. We chose to depict “Bullet 101,” the specially marked F-14D from the VF-2 squadron “Bounty Hunters,” which was painted in the mid-1990s to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the F-14’s service in the United States Navy.
The signature feature of the real F-14 is its sweeping wing, and we designed this model around that hallmark function as well. Our lightweight aluminum wing box design supports a rigid wing in both forward and swept configurations. The wings pivot on flat bearings to reduce resistance and wear, while electric servoless actuators extend and sweep the wings using steel control rods and brass ball links. The result is a durable, maintenance-free wing sweep system that gives pilots a truly authentic F-14 flying experience.
Scale fidelity, surface details, and builder-friendliness were also specific areas of focus. The PNP model arrives with the main fuselage completely assembled. All electronics—including servos, EDFs, ESCs, retracts, lights, and the E20 control box with integrated 6-axis gyro stabilization—are factory installed. The builder simply needs to screw on the wings, epoxy the forward nose section, and attach the assorted surface details such as the wing fences, antennas, pitot tube, and other scale accessories. To further simplify wiring and setup, this F-14 incorporates an onboard control system that manages the servos, taileron and aileron mixing, wing sweep function, gyro stabilization, and full lighting package.
While the complexity of this F-14D makes it one of the largest, most impressive, and heaviest EDF jets available at Motion RC, the aircraft features two 80mm 9-blade EDF units powered by 3530-1900Kv outrunner motors, paired with dual 80A ESCs for strong thrust, smooth sound, and excellent throttle response. Powered by two 6S 4000mAh batteries, the Tomcat can propel through the sky at speeds approaching 100mph while remaining remarkably stable and predictable throughout the flight envelope.
The Freewing F-14 is also extremely capable and confidence inspiring at slow speed. The model can cruise comfortably at 60% throttle, turn at 40% throttle even with the wings swept rearward, and land at less than 40mph with full flaps deployed. An 8 amp UBEC supplies dependable power to the servos and onboard systems, while the E20 gyro system adds an extra layer of precision and locked-in handling that enhances the flying experience without compromising the Tomcat’s scale character.

Power System and Electronics Compatibility:
This model is designed to operate using the included ESC and its integrated BEC, which is specifically matched to the onboard electronics. To ensure reliable performance and prevent damage, always power the aircraft's receiver and electronics through the installed ESC using the main flight battery. Do not use any power source other than the main flight battery to power the model, otherwise damage will occur to the electronics.
The receiver, servos, and other onboard electronics included with this model are rated for a maximum input voltage of 5.5V. When selecting your ESC and power system, verify that the BEC output supplied to the receiver and onboard electronics does not exceed 5.5V. Using a higher voltage will damage the aircraft's electronics.
