Version Info: This truck is delivered as "RTR", however does require 4x AA batteries for the transmitter, two 7.2V 1800mAh NiMH batteries and a battery charger, purchased separately (see Requires below for details).

The Inferno MP9e competes at the highest level in major 1/8 scale electric buggy races around the world. To keep pace with the ever-changing race scene, continuous evolution ensures the MP9e Evo incorporates the latest racing technology. Based on the competition-level MP9e Evo, this “MP9e Evo. V2” Readyset package represents excellent performance value. While maintaining the exceptional flat maneuverability and aerial control of the previous model, the new chassis layout of the MP9e incorporates improved balance for even greater control.

The aero body has been designed specially for this electric racing buggy to deliver critical elements such as steering, traction and rough track stability. At the heart of the MP9e is the new Kyosho Speed House brushless motor and ESC. This factory-finished Readyset package contains nearly everything needed to hit the track; all you need to add is a charged battery to the chassis and batteries for the transmitter! I am using a quality...read moreI looked at all the equivalent RTR buggies from the main top RC brands and the Kyosho had alot to offer at the price point. I am using a quality 4S Lipo battery pack and the car is extremely powerful. Good design suspension and components. Although there are many upgrade parts available for the MP9e, it is very well equipped as is. I had a little difficulty understanding the multi language translated instructions on the ESC tuning options. I wanted the drive mode to be Forwad with Brake only, instead of the Forward- Brake -Reverse it comes set at. It took about a half hour to finally understand what the inadequate English translation was actually telling me to do. But I got it and now I can change any ESC option with a little patience. Overall a great RTR buggy and Motion RC was very helpful in sales support with questions I had before my purchase. They shipped my buggy out the next business day and it arrived ahead of schedule.

Flying scale and with 300ft (looks super real off in the distance) and 10 - 20 ft show passes combined with realistic high alpha landings (nose up, touching the main gear first like real ones) is where this aircraft SHINES to me. Great Job Freewing! Although I’m not recommending flying in these conditions, the aerodynamics of this aircraft allow it to slice through 10 mph wind with 15-20 mph gusts no problem (I did this with gyro with aileron and elevator gains of 15%-20%). If you follow the instructions there is a high chance you need zero trim for stable flight.

This isn't a 3D machine, and it's so stable you really don't have to worry about coordinating turns, so it's not necessary. *Excellent* fit and finish. 3S is more than ample and makes the balance easy to nail. The smiles per dollar are hard to beat! NOTE: READ the update on the ESC - it's a very robust and feature-packed unit, but will confuse the uninitiated without the background, and may give the impression that there is an issue if you just try to bind it with your throttle set to minimum.

By the upgraded gear for the 6S model and you're set. The only thing I did is this baby was clear coat and paint the rockets to match the color scheme. The gyro system is really unique no annoying beeps just A nice bright blue and green light letting you know which mode you're in. Very impressed!!!!
