Overview
30 Minute Epoxy, 8 oz (236 mL) from BenchCraft - BCT5022-002
BenchCraft epoxy is a high-performance adhesive that forms a strong bond in a predictable length of time. It remains somewhat flexible when cured, so it performs well in high-stress applications such as firewalls, wing joiners, and tail surfaces. Modelers select the cure time best suited for the job; longer cure times are preferred for building that requires more precise part attachment. Epoxy should be applied to both surfaces being joined.
Pro Tip - By adding milled fiberglass, fiberglass cloth or micro balloons to an epoxied joint, the bond can be strengthened and the cure time shortened. These products should be tested before the actual application.
Features:
- Cures in 30 minutes allowing extended time for part alignment or complex builds
- Clear, sandable, and paintable
- Durable, vibration resistant formula
- Does not get brittle with age
- Easy to mix, just combine two equal parts
Tech Note: This item includes two bottles at 4 ounces each. The total volume of the two-part epoxy pair is 8 ounces or 236mL.
