New version keeps nose door open
I replaced my original board because I severely bent some of the connectors, and this new one does not close the nose door after gear deployed. I guess this is more scale-like, but might not be so good with high grass or the dreaded bouncy landings.

Heed the warning about 5.5 volts max on this unit but I had read in a couple of places that 6 volts would still be ok on this Control Board. The F4 had an ESC and receiver upgrade for reverse thrust and the lowest voltage the ESC would provide is 6 volts. The landing light function on the new Board would not work after installation, so time for more research. I found an answer to my questions on RC Groups that makes sense to me. According to those that hopefully know more than I the electronics that make all the magic work with this Board just can not handle the 6 volts my Avian ESC provides. So pay attention to the specs and save yourself some headaches! I did reach out to Motion (thinking I had a defective part) with a Ticket and they never responded. I have requested the Ticket be canceled just in case they do try to respond. I am surprised that MRC did not respond to my Ticket even though this appears to be a problem I caused. Oh well off to order another Board and address that 5.5 volt barrier!

Direct 1:1 drop in replacement part for the A-10 and F-4 (and any others that use this FCB) that brings all the cables to one place to condense them without using Y cables for the receiver. Nothing special about it really, and easy to swap in the A-10.
